Description

NORRISTOWN, PA — Officials in Norristown are warning residents to stay out of Municipal Hall as renovations get underway on the building. Authorities said local residents are continuing to wander into the gutted structure, despite extensive signage warning that it is closed. "DO NOT GO IN THE BUILDING!" the municipality shared in a social media post this week. Groundbreaking on the renovations to Municipal Hall was held earlier this year. The $13 million project calls for extensive additions and renovations to the center of town government, which has stood since 1972. The police station remains open. If you need assistance from other municipal offices, you should go to 1700 Markley Street, suite 104.
