Child Pornography Arrest In Joliet: 21-Year-Old In Jail

JOLIET, IL — The Will County State's Attorney's Office of Jim Glasgow has charged 21-year-old Joliet resident John Dieter with three felony counts of possessing child pornography. The Illinois State Police spearheaded the criminal investigation that led to Dieter's arrest on Tuesday. Dieter was booked into the Will County Jail early Tuesday afternoon. One of the Will County judges set Dieter's bail at $30,000, jail records show. As of Wednesday night, Dieter remained incarcerated in the jail. The Joliet resident lives in the 100 block of Jessie Street, which is in the Ingalls Park area.
