Part-time Math/English Instructor Position available for a Learning Center in Exton, PA. Dynamic after-school enrichment learning center is seeking an experienced Math and/or English instructor to tutor students who range from Grades Pre-K to 8th. All teaching materials are provided. The instructor will work with students on an individual basis or in a small group setting. He/she must be flexible with changes in settings and time. This is a part-time, year-round position. This position is currently virtual, but would be moved to in-center at some point in Summer. Requirements: College student or above with at least 20 units completedExcellent communication skills with adults and childrenSense of ownership and responsibilityPatience, enthusiasm, willingness to work with children.Hours can be discussed at the interviewProficient knowledge in Math, Reading and Writing (Based on the position being applied, all candidates will be tested in the related fields prior to interview).Must clear full background check (criminal, child abuse, and FBI finger printing).May start off with grading booklets in the beginning to become familiar with the program.Provide appropriate academic coaching to students according to theMotivate and encourage students (incentives, certificates, etc.)Periodic discussion of student progress with Center DirectorPersonnel (instructor, center assistant) management.
