EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Young adult-winning author James Klise will speak at the Evergreen Park Public Library, 9400 S. Troy Ave., on Wednesday, June 30, in celebration of Pride Month. The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the library's outdoor tent. Klise celebrates the tenth anniversary of his 2011 Stonewall Honor Award-winning novel, "Love Drugged." The Stonewall Book Awards are presented to English language books that have exceptional merit relating to the LGBTQ+ experience. Klise is an author, teacher and librarian in Chicago.
