ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Rockville Centre's Crystal Dunn is headed back to the big stage. She is part of the Women's US Soccer team going to the Tokyo Olympics next month, US Soccer said in a statement.
Dunn, who joined the Portland Thorns of the National Women's Soccer Club last year, went to South Side High School.
She made her Olympic debut at the Rio Games in 2016, but it was the first time Team USA failed to medal since women's soccer was added to the Olympics in 1996.
This year's games comes after a one-year postponement due to the worldwide pandemic.
Dunn, who turns 29 on July 3, earned numerous professional and collegiate accolades.
