Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/23/2021   On Wednesday June 23, 2021, at around 4:55am officers responded to a report of a person shot at the Chevron station 2195 Monroe Dr NE. On scene officers found two adult males, one deceased and one critically wounded, with gunshot wounds. The preliminary investigation found that the two males had been in a ride-share vehicle at the Chevron when a dispute arose with the driver. The dispute continued and resulted in the driver, also an adult male, shooting the other two males. A third male passenger in the vehicle fled the scene on foot. The wounded male was taken to the hospital. The driver is cooperating with police and the Homicide Unit detectives are working to determine what led to the dispute.   Please keep in mind that this is preliminary information and may change as the investigation progresses and new information is found.
