General Laborer - Trenching and Excavation Contractor

We are currently seeking general laborers to assist with trenching, backfill and landscape easement clearing. Majority of work will take place in Arizona City, AZ A Laborer should possess at least a fundamental understanding of construction and be familiar with working with tools and their hands. Experience in the construction industry is needed. Duties and Responsibilities: Hand dig and back fill trenches Assist in pushing and pulling conduit and fiber cable Trained to operate tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws Drive pick-up and one-ton vehicles to and from job site Carry and load materials to be used on the job Follow all company safety policies and practices Wash and clean vehicles and equipment Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment Other duties as assigned Essential Education and Qualifications: Underground construction experience Good verbal communication skills Must have valid driver’s license Valid DOT Health Card Preferred Skills: Class A Driver’s License (CDL) Physical Demands: Must be physically fit to endure the daily activity involved with the job Must be able to work in all weather conditions Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds Full Time Position Great Benefits: 401(k), Profit Sharing, Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Pay: $15.00- $18.00 per hour
