This year, we are proud to announce that we will be showcasing the finalists of our 28th Annual Lapin Competition during the program and that the winners will be announced at that time! About Fête de la Musique Fête de la Musique began in the summer of 1982 in Paris, France, and has become a world-wide event, celebrated in over 100 countries and 5 continents. For the 9th year, CMCB is hosting our own Fête de la Musique - ONLINE! With music from all corners of Community Music Center of Boston, we will highlight performances by our students, faculty, and teaching artists with music for all ages. Area businesses, organizations and neighborhood groups have partnered to deliver a diverse line-up of music to be freely enjoyed online and extending our audience even beyond Boston’s South End.
