Maintenance Technician for Restaurant Group

The Pulpo Group operates three restaurants: Sava's, Aventura, and The Dixboro Project in Ann Arbor. The Maintenance Technician will work directly with the Facilities Director to support the entire family of TPG businesses. Responsible for performing technical tasks relative to facility maintenance and repairs. JOB DUTIES & TASKS Coordinate and facilitate movement of equipment and supplies between businesses. Source supplies and run errands as requested. Maintain warehouse and storage spaces. The Maintenance Technician will perform landscaping and weatherizing tasks and maintain the external facades of our businesses. Assist with monthly maintenance for standard equipment at our locations such as HVAC, ovens, stoves, and refrigeration. Assist with constructions projects, remodels and other special projects as directed. Possess the ability to accomplish tasks without supervision. Complete tasks according to safety and compliance procedures. Ensure safety, sanitation, storage and cleanliness standards are upheld and maintained. QUALIFICATIONS -Experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical and electrical work -Experience with basic equipment repairs and maintenance -Knowledge of safety management and food safety compliance preferred -Valid driver’s license -Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS: -Sense of Urgency and Awareness -Positive Attitude -Professional -Communicative -Ethical - A need to ‘do the right thing’ -Proactive -Strong Problem Solving Skills
