Green Site Services is a small full-service company focused on Disaster & Emergency Response, Site Remediation, Waste Management, Industrial and Construction Services. Field Technicians have the important role of making sure the job site is clean, safe, and ready for work to begin. As a Field Technician, you will be asked to work both independently and in a team to perform manual labor tasks and support operations on the job site. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Transporting materials/equipment to and from the job site. • Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen to safely perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, cleaning work sites, etc.). • Assist welders, carpenters, equipment operators, and all other tradespeople to on-site. • Handle, transport, load, unload, and install job materials (e.g. cement) and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders). • Use hand tools (e.g. hammer drill, band saw, etc.) and heavy machinery (e.g. forklifts, skid steer, etc.). QUALIFICATIONS: • Active Driver’s License. • Availability to travel roughly 20% of the time to remote project sites. • OSHA 40 and 10 Construction Safety Training (Not required. Must be willing to obtain certification upon employment). • Familiarity with power tools and machinery (Not required). • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for 8 hours per day, lifting loads up to 40 lbs., working in confined spaces, clarity of vision at two feet or more). • Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment. This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Local travel to various worksites may be required.
