Luxury Design Build Company seeking a Carpenter or Carpenter Helper for kitchens, baths, additions and whole house remodels Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a challenging and fun atmosphere POSITION OVERVIEW: Carpenter will work under the direction of the Lead carpenter doing demo work, frame and trim carpentry work, touch ups and general handyman work. Responsibilities: • Perform carpentry at the highest level as required • Expedite timely completion of the work to maintain schedule and budget goals • Ensure job site safety, protection, and maintenance of company tools, and enforce all job site protocols • Carpenter will produce work and expect others work to meets the highest standards • Read and interpret paperwork, including all plans and specifications, purchase orders, subcontractor work orders, and cost updates. Bring questions, discrepancies, and unusual conditions to the attention of the Lead Carpenter • Offer suggestions for better production performance. • Responsible for end-of-day procedures, such as clean-up, weather protection and security • Responsible to keep job site safe for homeowners and trade partners • Communicate with clients and trade partners in a professional manner Experience: • Construction: 10+years (Preferred) • Carpentry: 10+years (Preferred) Job Type: • Full-time Starting wage: • $20.00 /hour plus quarterly bonuses at management discretion.
