Landscaping has an immediate job opportunity for an Experienced Landscape Construction Crew Member. Looking for people with a working knowledge of hardscapes or laborer with a background in working hard. Preferred Candidates for this job be familiar with building paver and natural stone patios, Goshen stone walkways, bluestone paving, stone retaining walls, and more. BENEFITS • Year-Round Position • 40+ hour work weeks • Health Insurance • Life Insurance • 401K • 401K Match • Paid Weekly • Paid Holidays’ • Paid Vacation • Paid Time Off • Paid travel time to & from jobs • Higher than average pay for our industry and region • Company Uniforms and Safety Gear • State of the art equipment QUALIFICATIONS • Work closely with the Construction Supervisor in installation of landscape projects • Must have knowledge and skills in installation of hardscapes including retaining walls, paver patios/ walkways, driveways, plant material, outdoor lighting, water features, grading, etc. • Communicate effectively to senior supervisor on any project changes and needs. • Always deliver high quality work and artisanship. • Always represent the firm’s best interest and maintain the highest level of integrity for our customers and team members • Maintain a clean and organized job site in all conditions • Provide a safe and healthy working environment following OSHA’s highest standards REQUIREMENTS • 2 years of experience in landscape design/construction and/or related trade school enrollment. • Must have a high attention to detail, self-motivated, and great customer service skills. • Possess a valid driver license and/or CDL Class A or B • Must be professional in appearance and actions. • Must be able to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints. • Understands elevations and uses this knowledge to execute the construction plans. • Punctual and dependable- showing up every day, on time • Willingness/ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with a positive attitude • Ability to safely handle a truck & trailer combination/large bed dump trucks (non CDL). • Operates, proficiently, a variety of construction equipment, including skid steers, excavators, front end loaders, plate compactors, vibratory rollers, stone grinders, drills, gas and electric chop saws, demolition hammers, and jack hammers. • Perform snow removal during the winter months as well as help with maintenance of equipment. PAY: Based on experience, licensing/certifications and skillset WORK SHEDULE • 40 Plus hour work week • Monday-Friday 7 AM – 4:00 PM (approximate) • Optional OT and Saturdays To learn more about us, visit our careers page.
