I am looking to hire someone to clean my boats on a daily basis for the summer season which would run from the end of May to the end of September. The person will be responsible for cleaning several boats that I have in Newport Harbor that are located on a floating dock attached to a mooring. Boats are rented on a per night basis on several travel websites. Cleaning Services would involve maintaining the cleanliness of the boat( including the bathrooms ) as well as changing the sheets on the beds and making sure that all garbage is taken away as well. The person would be responsible for having to drive a small dinghy with an outboard to transport him self/ herself back-and-forth to the mainland. A dinghy and outboard would be provided for the employee. The person would also be responsible for managing all of the laundry which would include dropping the laundry off at a local laundromat in Newport and picking up the laundry as well – the person must be available between the hours of 12 PM to 3 PM seven days a week. Payment is per boat and the cleaning fee that would be paid will be $50 per boat. Typically a cleaning takes between 30 to 45 minutes. Additional money can be earned by providing transport to and from the dock for guests that are arriving and leaving as well as additional money can be made by reviewing the boat features with the guests as they arrive – these rates can be determined for the right person.
