Maj's Services Inc. is a year round site maintenance and soil erosion company seeking a general laborer with experience in construction, small equipment operation and hauling. Hours vary every day. Applicant must be available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. with occasional Saturday work. Hourly rate based on experience. $17-20/hr. (Higher wage considered for candidate that has operator experience. Candidate must be able to prove this experience.) Candidate will be eligible for holiday pay and additional bonuses after 90 days. After 1 year candidate will be eligible for 401K including up to 4% company match REQUESTED QUALIFICATIONS: - Possess a valid MI drivers’ license - Chauffeurs and/or CDL A with valid medical card a plus - Must have reliable transportation, clean and safe driving record - Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors as well as in ALL weather conditions - Must be able to lift 50lbs. or more repeatedly **Subcontractors will not be considered. The main line of work is installing silt fencing by way of a stand on trencher, pounding in stakes by hand then backfilling dirt. Other duties included but are not limited to: snow plowing, brush hogging, weed whipping, stump grinding, debris cleanup, placing seed and straw blankets, lifting manhole covers & inserting filters and miscellaneous tasks. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
