Description
Hey all,
I'm on the hunt for a keyboard/synth/samples player to fill out a set of indie/songwriter based songs. Experience w/ polyrhythms and odd-counting is a HUGE plus, but I'm down to help fine-tune that skill if the enthusiasm is there. Currently have the parts/tones written (and gear to play it) but would be open to unload this duty for future writing.
Practice is once a week in Raleigh, usually Wed or Thurs evenings, sometimes Sunday afternoon. The main goal is to get a tight set, continually write songs, and play a few shows a year around the Triangle/NC, eventually record an album, maybe make some videos. If we're all loving it and wanna go further then maybe we can play outta town, not really stressing that yet though.
Big influences include Mitski, US Girls, Wilco, Courtney Barnett, Protomartyr, Perfume Genius, etc. Preferably looking for someone in their mid 20-30's. While this is admittedly a casual hang/practice vibe, I wanna be clear that getting the parts tight is very important, no one's gonna have fun if you're learning parts at practice.
Please provide samples if interested, thanks!
