I have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old black male Great Dane from a litter I produced from my own dogs, that has been returned to me because his family are being relocated to Colorado for work and they could not find affordable housing that would accept a dog of his size. I have 4 dogs of my own and simply can not keep him myself so I must find him another family asap.
He is microchipped, up to date on his annual vaccinations, negative for heartworms and all internal/external parasites. He has been on a monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative all his life. He is however still intact but I can arrange to have him neutered before he is adopted.
He is fully trained, which includes being crate trained. He was raised in a home with a mid-sized German Shepherd mix and a cat. He is very social with other dogs but can be a bit annoying to his feline sibling because he likes to chase him. Overall I think he would do well in a home with either other dogs or cats. For the last year he has also lived with a baby, and has done fine with him as well! He is your typical Great Dane meaning he is unaware of his size and can be clumsy at times, so I would prefer a home with older kids if possible.
He is registered but he will not be placed with his registration papers as I would prefer to place him in a PET only forever home. He will however come with everything you need for him!
There is a small adoption fee to ensure he is placed with a responsible owner. If you would be interested in meeting him or would like to see photos please reply back with your email and/or cell phone number.
