Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (approx. 20 hrs/week in summer; 5 hrs/week in winter) Position Summary: This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of a private residence in South Hero, VT, which includes a 8,000 square foot house, 70 acres, recreational trails and a pool. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Maintain operation of the home and other building structures and systems, taking on full responsibility for regular upkeep, maintenance, and repairs. Mow, trim, and clean and service related equipment. Coordinate with contractors as needed. Maintain a tidy and organized shop. Secure mail or packages delivered. Garbage/recycling removal, as needed. Keep household "guest-ready." Hiring Requirements/Preferences: Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience. Demonstrated understanding of complex physical house systems - water, lighting, heating and cooling, and security. Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Competence coordinating vendors and contractors.
