Is there any interest in starting a 90’s era grunge/alternative cover band? I don’t think I’ve seen too many, if any cover bands that solely focus on this era of music, well around my area at least. I grew up to these tunes so I imagine there’s some kind of market for them. I’m a guitar player of 25+ years, recorded, toured have all types of gear and capable of lead or rhythm. This would be starting from scratch so we’d need drums, bass, another guitar, and vox. I also think it’d be beneficial if we could get a lady vocalist to tackle some female fronted bands. I’d be looking for people who are easy going, care about their craft and relatively drug/alcohol free (I’m not a prude I just don’t want to deal with people who need to be on something in order to function or play.) Age/Gender/Look are irrelevant to me as long as you can do play part. Vocalist, this is a variety of unique vocalist from Cornell to Statley. I cannot stress this enough. I DO NOT, IN ABSOLUTELY ANY WAY EXPECT YOU TO SOUND LIKE THE RECORDING OR SINGER. You just need to sound decent and tackle the tune to the best of your ability. They’re are a lot of the bands I have in mind but some of bigger names would be Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Sound Garden, foo Fighters, Bush, No Doubt, Garbage etc. Anyway if you interested hit me up
