Description

I just moved here from California and am looking for a group to play with. Most recently, I've focused on bebop standards from the forties to sixties. I love to improvise and I learn quickly by ear, but am less gifted at reading music. I've played with traditional musicians in Senegal, a bossa nova group in Rio, a folk-tronica band, a ska band, baroque music, and much more. Now I'm looking for a small jazz combo, a NOLA style brass band, and other interesting opportunities where I could improvise.
