I am looking for other Femme humans to form a band with. I want the environment to be based on fun, trust and open mindedness. I am open to genre clashing to make our own sound based on our individual interests. I want everyone comfortable to have a say in their musical expression. Your commitment to showing up to practice (And practicing on ur own) is more important than your musical experience level. I have a space but you will need to haul your equipment in and out each time (shared space) and be respectful of others equipment in the room. If you become a permanent member of the band you will also need to contribute money towards the room. Not super expensive but I’m all for full disclosure. I am looking for DIY feel, A sense of community within the Portland music scene. Booking our own shows, making our own flyers and Merch. Playing house shows and making connections within different music scenes. I would like to set up mini tours down the road (get it) I have some experience in this arena and can be helpful. I am currently the front person for a band. I would love a project where we switch instruments/ vocals and learn together( band ex.Coathangers) At this time, I sing but do not Legit play an instrument. I can bring vocal equipment and the room to the table. You will need to bring an instrument/gear, enthusiasm and down the line some room rent.
