Job Description
Are you ready for an exciting and physical job where no two days are ever the same? Our Mitigation Technicians work hard in often harsh conditions involving, smoke, water, mold, sewage, etc., to help people and properties recover from damage due to disasters. The ideal candidate will enjoy physical labor, have a positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and be 100% reliable and accountable. It would be great if you have worked for a disaster restoration company in the past. Here is a bit more information about the job:
• Fire Damage-board up, structure stabilization, smoke cleaning & pack out
• Water Damage-extraction, drying, minor demolition & pack out
• Trash removal
• Mold Remediation
• Restoration-contents manipulation, cleaning, small punch out tasks
• On call rotation for new emergency calls
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects on a regular basis
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Clean background check
• Fluent English
• Work some weekends and night hours as needed
• Experience in disaster restoration preferred
• IICRC certifications a plus, not necessary.
