Delivery Driver Job Description Today Delivery is a small, family owned and operated delivery company looking to expand our team. We are putting together several 2 person crews to deliver and/or assemble a variety of items, mostly furniture. This opening is great for someone who enjoys being physically active throughout the workday and prefers spending time out of the office. Delivery Driver Responsibilities - Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes - Follow routes and time schedule - Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle - Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve client complaints - Provide excellent customer service - Build strong relationships with clients and customers - Complete logs and reports - Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Delivery Driver Skills - Valid driver’s license (necessary) - Good driving record with no traffic violations - Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver is a plus - Ability to operate forklifts or warehouse experience is a plus - Excellent organizational and time management skills
