Looking to re-home my 1 yo dog

Description

I unfortunately, am looking to rehome Lacey. I am in a place where I need to work on my stress levels. When I adopted her, I was told she was a completely different breed than what she actually is. Had I known she was a super high energy dog, I wouldn't have adopted her. Yes I know she is still a puppy (she will be 1 year in July) but she's just a dog where the puppy stays in her. She is a mountain cur mix. Popular hunting dogs in the south. She really is a great girl. But with kids, I dont have the time for her 1 on 1 that she needs and deserves. Yes she has her crazy zoomies time running outside but she's still too wild to let loose in the house around the kids. I work with her as much as I can, but like I said, I just can not continue to take on the extra stress. I hate to give up on her, but she deserves better than what I can currently give. She will be 1 year next month (July) She is not spayed. She is very food aggressive if the kids go near her while she's eating. She's okay if I go near her. She's good with cats and other dogs as far as I have seen. She's also fine around our chickens. She's a medium sized dog. Big on shedding. Not a barker at all unless someone comes to the door or down the driveway, so she's a great guard dog. She is good with the kids, just too hyper for my liking. She is just recently fully housebroken. Very well crate trained! Not horrible on leash but I've only had her on leash like twice. She does good with sticking by us in the yard. She would come with her crate, food, food and water bowls, e-collar, toys, leashes and outside run. I paid $400 for her, I'm asking $300 for a rehoming fee. I will not let her go to just anybody. Call me at 860 382 66 eight four and leave me a message explaining your home type and a little about yourself and I will get back to you if I think you'd be a good fit. We live in Brooklyn, CT.
