Description

A sunset paddle at Menard May Park Join us in light winds and on calm waters as we paddle along mangrove lined back water channels where you will have the opportunity to see Florida's wildlife at one of the most beautiful times of day, sunset. You will have the opportunity to get up close with dolphins, shore birds, predatory birds and perhaps a stingray as it glides along a sandbar. We will leave Menard May Park at 6:30 p.m. and travel along the mangroves north or south depending on the tide and then return back to the park at sunset (approximately 8:30 p.m.). We will stop at the large sandbar just offshore from the park enjoy a light snack and some water and take in the sunset before returning the short distance to the park. It is a spectacular setting for a paddle that everyone will thoroughly enjoy. This paddle is appropriate for all levels of paddlers including beginners. We provide everything to get you safely on the water. We will give you a lesson on how to stand up on your paddle board and the proper way to paddle. We also have three single kayaks and a tandem (2 person) kayak available. There is no fee if you have your own vessel but we ask you to please let us know if you plan to attend. If you have any questions, please call or text 386-566-3526 or send us an instant message and we will get back to you.
