Summer Hair and Skin Care Workshop for foster and adoptive caregivers The long hot summer days are finally here! Cut it Forward wants to help you and your kiddo survive summer with awesome hair and skin care techniques that you can learn at our Ethnic Hair and Skin Care Workshop! We are working with expert ethnic hair and skin care consultants to teach you the basics of summer time protective styling, including how to choose a braid style and best cleansing practices on pool days. We will teach you how to choose effective hair products based on your child's hair texture as well as how to build healthy, tear-free hair care rituals! We can't forget about our kiddo's melanated skin! We will be answering your questions about sunscreen and proper skin care during the warmer months as well. We're excited to share that each family that registers via Eventbrite will receive a complimentary Crown Box Kit. Each kit contains starter products and empowering messages to help you and your kiddo on your journey to healthy hair and moisturized skin. Cut it Forward workshops are also DHS Continuing Education Unit certified. In order to comply with safety protocols, registration is mandatory to attend the workshop.
