Our featured speaker for our Faith Fund Rally will be Mr. Saad Malek, the Gideon Field Representative for Egypt. Speaking this year is Mr. Saad Malek, the Gideon Field Representative for Egypt. He joined the Gideons in 1975. His local camp is Heliopolis, a suburb of Cairo, but at one time it was one of the largest cities in ancient Egypt. It was the capital of the cult of Amon-Ra, second only in size to Thebes. It was known as the city of “On” in the Bible. (Genesis 41:45) and (Ezekiel 30:17) He is a partner in a family-owned company, which is part of the Egyptian rubber industry as both a manager and chemist. He has served as the National Country Treasurer as well as a National Field Officer for Egypt. Egypt is a country with a rich history, and Heliopolis is a major city in that history. Many scholars and mathematicians of old were educated there. We can expect to be both entertained and taught by the presentation of Mr. Malek.
