The Maintenance Technician will be responsible, under the direction of the Regional Manager, for the overall maintenance of the apartment complex and all areas related to the day‐to‐day maintenance operations of the community. Previous apartment maintenance experience is required. Possible Apartment for the right candidate as part of compensation. Duties and skills will include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities and Duties Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting Resolve daily work order requests from existing residents and office staff Make ready units for new move‐ins Participate in rotation of on-call emergencies after hours, evenings and weekends, and mandatory snow removal Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, and sweeping Coordinate special projects as directed. Previous experience in a lease up preferred. Qualifications and Skills The Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. The tech must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
