Carolina Commercial Laundry Equipment is a small and growing family company located in Winston-Salem, NC. We are seeking a person for a mechanic’s helper position. This position requires no experience but you must be willing to learn how to work with hand tools used in in repairing and installing commercial laundry equipment used in hotels, healthcare and government facilities. This job assists the head tech with all phases of installation and service. Starting pay is $12.00 per hour or higher, depending on your experience and ability to learn. Pay is weekly. Qualifications: • No experience necessary. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must have reliable transportation, NC Driver’s License and good driving record. • Must have a reliable means of communication (phone). • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds. • Must be able to work in confined workspaces behind equipment. Position Requirements: • Must present a clean and professional appearance. • This job requires you to work in healthcare (Assisted Living facilities) and hotels in a professional manner. • Must be able to quickly learn and identify common hand tools and instruments used in the repairs and installation of commercial laundry equipment. • Travel with service tech in company vehicle around the state to various job locations. • Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with some possible overtime.
