Description
Ghia is a female short haired Siberian Husky for adoption. I think she is around 8 years old. Ghia has been spayed. We purchased Ghia a few years ago before my father passed away as a friend and companion after my mother had recently passed away. Ghia is such a good girl. She is wonderful and low maintenance for a shut-in or senior citizen. She is very calm and easy going. She likes to be inside and outside. Ghia would always lay by my dads chair as he would have his hand on her head petting her. She loved to go ride in his truck with him. Everywhere he would go outside she would follow. She never would get under his feet. She always walked close by him in the house from room to room to hang out. She watched his every move. Ghia is completely house trained. She has never ever had an accident in the house. She will dance around and bark to let you know she needs to go out. My dad had about 20 acres of land and she would go explore, but never run off. She would always come back and when ready to come back in she would scratch or knock at the door and let him know. We brought Ghia back home to live with us about a year after dad passed away. Ghia gets along great with our small male beagle and large male golden retriever but not so much our small female beagle. Ghia is aggressive towards female dogs. It doesn't look like she has been around small children. She is very timid around children and does not want to be pulled or hugged on. She has never bitten anyone. She always let my dad know and us too when strangers were at the door or on the property by barking. I was told Ghia had killed a few neighborhood chickens previously before we got her and my dads neighbor said she had killed a few of his chickens. But, we have chickens and ducks that free range and we have taught Ghia not to eat the small animals and she has never touched one of my animals and actually she walks right by them and ignores them. (We have one little small bantam rooster that tries to court Ghia) Unfortunately, we have to re-home Ghia because we have a small grandchild and I do not want to take any chances that she could possibly snap at him when he visits. He is at her level and naturally wants to pull and tug on her. It is important that I find Ghia the perfect home that she deserves. She was an absolute angel for my dad when he needed a companion. Please contact me if you are seriously interested in adopting Ghia after completely reading this information. Please do not contact me and ask how much $ is she unless you are able to come out and meet her first and decide if you even like her and she likes you. Thank you!
