Our next bottle release of 2021 features a 36 month aged Medianoche and another aged in one of our favorite barrels..... Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 26 at 10am when tickets go on sale! Double Barrel Medianoche: Peach Brandy This ambitious project started over three years ago with a small lot of Medianoche aged in freshly emptied 7-12 year-old bourbon barrels for 18 months. Following the first round of barrel aging, this specific batch of Medianoche was aged for an additional 18 months in five of the most unique casks we have used-- two peach brandy barrels, two vanilla extract bourbon barrels and one Cognac cask. After more than 36 months of aging in four different spirits barrels, the final blend showcases notes of peach jam, sweet vanilla cream, chocolate ganache, dried apricots, roasted almonds and a subtle hint of sweet tobacco. Available in 500 mL bottles to-go for $28 each, limit 2 OWA Medianoche When we finally got our hands on freshly emptied 6-8 year-old Weller wheated bourbon barrels, which were admittedly bucket-list barrels for us given our love of OWA, we took the opportunity to craft a new Medianoche recipe specifically for these iconic casks. Leaning into the distinctly soft mouthfeel and unique flavors imparted by the wheated mash used in Old Weller Antique, we incorporated four different wheat malts to make up 35% of the mash bill for this wheated batch of Medianoche. After aging this intentionally redesigned batch of Medianoche in OWA barrels for over 22 months, the resulting blend expresses notes of vanilla beans, maple candies, dark chocolate almond bark, salted caramels, honey dates and dried dark cherries. Tickets must be exchanged for bottles in person at the brewery between Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, July 4 during taproom hours. Tickets will go on sale promptly at 10:00 AM MST on Saturday, June 26. Be sure to read all of the details below before purchasing tickets! Ticket Details Individuals must be 21 or older to purchase tickets, as verified by a valid photo ID at the time of ticket exchange (bottle pickup). There are NO PROXIES allowed for this release. Each ticket entitles the patron to redeem (1) one 500 mL bottle of the bottle listed on the ticket. There is a strict limit of (2) two bottles of Double Barrel Peach Brandy Medianoche and (3) three bottles of OWA Medianoche. One ticket = one bottle redemption, so a full allocation requires the redemption of (5) five tickets. Additional orders placed that exceed the stated limits will be canceled without notice.Tickets must be exchanged for bottles in person at WeldWerks Brewing Co. (508 8th Ave, Greeley, CO 80631) between Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, July 4. Tickets (either digital or printed) must be presented in person in order to receive bottles. All unclaimed bottles remaining after the pickup window will be forfeited.
