Grumpy Plum w/HALLIE ALL AGES Grumpy Plum Hallie Grumpy Plum / HALLIE Friday, July 9th Doors at 8pm / Show at 9pm $10 Young and energetic, Grumpy Plum is an absolutely extraordinary indie band based in Cleveland Ohio. Comprising of Tallulah Swasey on guitar and vocals, Laurel McCreight on bass, and Mattie Zanin on drums, they are certainly a force to be reckoned with. They formed in 2019 and released their first EP “Don’t Yell At Me”. They have released a few singles since and anticipate their first LP in fall of 2021z Taking inspiration from Led Zeppelin, Diet Cig, Big Thief, and Phoebe Bridgers, Grumpy Plum certainly holds an original sound with loud dynamics, attacking the traditional indie genre by storm. --- HALLIE is an artist, songwriter, producer, and multi instrumentalist born in Cleveland, Ohio. She began songwriting and honing her instrumental skills as a young teen in the local punk band scene and church bands. From fronting bands, to gigging, to teaching herself a multitude of instruments along the way; was born a passion for producing and creating in the fast paced and ever changing pop industry. In February of 2020, HALLIE was selected by Atlantic Records/ APG as part of a songwriter search, where she got to work with/learn from label A & R's and Producers in Los Angeles. This proved to be a turning point creatively, as her skills in songwriting and producing were exponentially elevated because of the guidance and knowledge of the team. At 23, HALLIE is a force to be reckoned with; blending cutting edge pop and electronic elements in to infectious and detailed songs in her home studio. Her goal is to create fierce and confident anthems to empower her generation. HALLIE'S newest single "NBDY'S BBY" is released on 4/23. Grumpy Plum Hallie The Grog Shop opened in September of 1992 in the Coventry Rd. neighborhood of Cleveland Heights. Though expanded in size when moved to it’s current location in 2003, the club maintains the intimacy and raw character it has always been known for. We have a full bar with an extensive list of micro-brews, imports, and domestic beer, and of course plenty of liquor.
