Music Lessons for Drums Hi friends and readers. I teach one hour of drum lessons on drum set for $50.00 a hour or $25.00 for 1/2 a hour. Beginner to Advanced. Men, Women, and kids are welcome to take lessons. The books teach I from are: The Drummers Complete Vocabulary as taught by Alan Dawson, Groove Essentials 1.0 by Tommy Igoe, The Drummers Bible by Mick Berry and Jason Gianni and Ultimate Realistic Rock by Carmine Appice. The styles of drumming I teach are Jazz, Punk, Rock, Latin, Funk, Blues, Surf Rock and Reggae. If you want to become a great drummer learn to practice more and take lessons and stick with a routine. I know over 60 drum rudiments and if you want to learn that as well we can do that. Good drumming takes time to learn. Really good drumming takes years to learn. The Music Stores I have taught at are: 1)Ferndale Music Company in Ferndale, CA 2)City Music in Crestwood, MO. Both stores were great. I also have taught at students homes. The price to teach at your house does go up depending on where you live. It brings me a great joy and honor to pass the tradition of drumming to others who have a sincere desire to learn and who want to stick with a practice routine. You simple don't get better as a drummer by not practicing but by moving forward and learning new rhythms and fills. I also have created 4 different play alongs with sheet music for you to learn to play drumset.
