Maggie the 14 month old Heeler/Aussie Mix Needs a Job!

Description

We were "gifted" a blue/red heeler and Aussie mix from our neighbors who didn't fix their dogs, and puppies soon came along. We live in a community townhouse, and while we have attempted to give her a forever home, she is proving to us again and again that she needs more space than we can provide. We have 3 little dogs who are older, and it has been a struggle to say the least. I am also a newly single mom, so while I hate to see this dog get passed along, there is simply no way to care for her any longer. I'm trying every possible avenue rather than having to take her to the shelter. Maggie is 14 months old (born 4/18/2020). The attached photos are from when she was a baby, up until now (tongue sticking out while sitting is the most recent). She is INCREDIBLY smart, high energy, and was easy to train. She is not always keen on strangers, but will warm up to the right ones with time. She fetches very well, knows several commands including sit, stay, come, and *mostly* "bang" (play dead). She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and comes chipped. She is also kennel trained, and has seemed to get past her digging/chewing phase. She lives on our covered back patio where she has constant outdoor access, so I cannot speak to whether or not she is fully house broken, but when she is inside for short times, she does well. She loves cuddling up on your lap like a small dog, and will "hug" which is the best feeling ever. I would love to see her go to a place where she can work as her natural herding abilities are very well intact. Please reach out here. I am asking for a small rehoming fee, and an in-person home inspection prior to adopting her out.
