We are currently looking for a FT Groundskeeper to join our team! OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE has previous work experience in property maintenance, or janitorial roles. Has excellent attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills, and takes great pride in the quality of their work. Has knowledge of proper safety precautions. Has basic computer skills (email and internet). Must have a passion for customer service and an ability to work alone! Work with our FT Groundskeeper and maintenance crew (they are fun!)...keeping our property looking beautiful! M-F 8-5. General grounds keeping duties including but not limited to upkeep and maintenance of all outside areas, cuts and trims lawns and vegetation, clean parking areas, sidewalks, curbs, empty outside trash containers. This is a 324 unit property with a large grounds area- snow removal in the winter... We are looking for someone who isn't afraid to work hard and will work well with a great team! Duties may require handling and lifting heavy weights and equipment up to one hundred (100) pounds. QUALIFICATIONS One (1) year of experience in grounds maintenance and upkeep. Good knowledge of practices, tools, equipment and materials used in grounds maintenance and upkeep; and of safety practices as applied to grounds maintenance and upkeep. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Ability to deal with the public in a positive manner. Must have reliable transportation. This will not be a live-on-site position. Candidate hired will be required to submit proof of identity and employment eligibility. This is a FT benefited position with healthcare after 60 days and vacation and sick leave after 90.
