Opening Night of the 2021 Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival, featuring four (4) short films and one (1) feature. FEATURE SYNOPSIS: A man reunites with his estranged, transgender father as they journey to scatter his late mother's ashes off the Georgia coast. SCREENING DATE: Saturday, July 24, 2021 @ 7:00 PM TICKET PRICE: $15.00 (all ages) PRECEDED BY: A New Leash on Life, Fugetsu-Do, The Woman of the House, and How to Fall in Love in a Brothel PLEASE NOTE: Session runs from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Shorts program begins at 7:00 PM, followed by a brief intermission, and concludes with the feature film, Landlocked. General admission tickets provide entry to all films in the session. Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival (BWiFF) is a not-for-profit organization based in the greater Chicagoland area. The festival seeks out bold and innovative filmmakers that utilize story elements in a new and exciting way, presenting character-driven independent cinema that is fueled by the filmmaker's passion for the art without large studio support.
