Energy City Kubb is proud to sponsor the 3rd Annual Illinois Kubb Championship to be held in Batavia, IL. For the 3rd straight year, we will be hosting the Illinois Kubb Championship. This event gets bigger and better every year. We are allowing teams of between 2-3 people per team. There will be 7-8 preliminary rounds followed by 2-3 playoff rounds to determine the final standings. In order to keep things both fun and competitive we offer : 1. Social gathering the night before at a local brewery; 2. Trophies & Cash Prizes(~1/2 of the entry fees); 3. Lunch Menu that is 2nd to none; 4. Freshly mowed and painted pitches by our local Park District that can accommodate an unlimited number of teams; 5. Post tournament party that lasts well into the evening; 6. Raffle baskets; and 7. Great music and friendly folks ! The $40/team cost does not include the "full" lunch that will be available on the day of the event for $10/person. We are also planning a couple surprise pop-up events on the day of the tournament.
