First 5 of SLO & SCYC are sponsoring a parent participation style learning pod series for parents of toddlers 24-36 months. Parent Participation style learning pods for parents and toddlers ages 24-36 months. Each week parents and toddlers will learn together by participating in activities to promote learning on topics including: nutrition, gross motor, imaginative play, art, music, mindfulness & brain based parenting. Local experts will offer guidance and support using learn by doing methods. Learning pods are outside at Strother Park. Parents are asked to bring a blanket or yoga mat to sit on. Snacks are provided. Child care for siblings available upon request. Parents must commit and enroll in the entire seven week series. Space is limited.
