Description

Crew Leaders with Happy Window Cleaning start at $16/hr, earn extra tips, and take part in our profit-sharing. We service high-end homes in most weather. The job requires that someone have a clean driving record, the ability to climb ladders up to three stories, and good people skills. Although we do have high expectations, we do our best to meet people where they are (up to a point). If you do not have experience we will train you. We are a growing company, offering franchises to investors and have career paths for serious people looking for a stable change of vocation. When other trades slow down windows still get dirty and affluent people aren't going to do them themselves. We survived a housing crisis in 2008 and COVID 19, which ought to tell you something. Therefore this is a trade where someone can always make a mortgage payment. It isn't a prestigious job but it isn't moving to Mexico either. Our company is unique because we have the open books management model. this means that we don't keep any secrets. Employees can inquire where every dime goes. WE have a track and training for those who want a franchise territory of their own. give us three years of honorable service and we give you your own territory. We believe that work should provide a way forward for people and we put our money where our beliefs are. Window Cleaning is honest work, it can be hard work at times, but it doesn't break your back either. It is one of the few jobs that when completed customers gain a greater appreciation for what they already own! Rather than selling someone something new that perhaps they don't really even need, window cleaning helps people enjoy what they already have. Many older people can't do the work for themselves. Caring about service makes the job enjoyable for people who think of others. We work in beautiful settings and are outside a lot. There is a different view each day. The bible tells us to live simply, work with our hands, and not be dependent on anyone. We meet at 8;30 a.m., later than most companies and we generally go to our first appointment at 9 a.m. Since some days we may have three small jobs and others two larger jobs we don't end work at exactly the same time every day. In fact that changes from busier months to slower months. but we still manage to work for a solid 9 months of the year. Because we are a seasonal company you are eligible to collect a check for three months if you like. Whenever the snow starts flying, usually December, January, and February. That is what employers pay unemployment insurance for. However, if you are the type who likes to keep busy, or worry that unemployment checks might not be enough, we keep some people working over the winter to get a winter pay of $20 per hour to help us with commercial work Time is valuable if you use it well. We pay for College at my Alma Mater if that interests you. Still, between the big productivity check (In the thousands) and your regular wages, you should make out pretty well.
