Description
Bright Futures Youth Empowerment Workshops: Equipping your child with the vital tools needed to succeed in life! Bright Futures Youth Empowerment Workshops: In these workshops I will be taking the same vital tools I teach CEOs and large companies on how to succeed and pouring those into your youth. My name is Caren Bright and I want to invite your 12- to 17-year-old son to the Bright Futures Teen Boys series of Personal Empowerment Workshops. I'm enthusiastic about empowering teens to begin the journey toward becoming all they were created to be! In these workshops your son will develop vital life skills while having fun and bonding with other teen boys. We meet upstairs, in room 206, and a light breakfast will be served! Signing up for every session is not mandatory, but recommended. You also do not have to stick with the AM or PM group, please select the classes that works best with your child's schedule. The Bright Futures menu of workshops include: Session 1// Vision: Your son will begin to “think bigger” to expand the visions he has of himself and his capabilities in seven core areas of this life.Session 2// Goal Setting: Your son will learn to identify the obstacles in the way of living out his Bright Future.Session 3// Planning and Prioritizing and Time Management: Your son will learn how to effectively prioritize the goals he has defined and turn them into specific plans with realistic timelines and deadlines.Session 4// Mindset and Integrity: Your son will discover the life changing benefits of adopting a positive mindset and understand that mindset is a choice.Session 5// Communication and Collaboration : Your son will learn to actively listen, pay attention to his emotions, use positive body language, and choose words that encourage effective communication.A little bit about my background (bio) Caren Bright is an Author, Speaker, Certified Executive Life Coach (versed in Trauma Informed Care), and Conflict Management Specialist who also holds a Nonprofit Management Certification. Having overcome poverty and homelessness for herself and her family, Caren has made it her life’s work to advocate for women and children. She is the founder of Bright Futures for Women and Children (formerly known as Pamper Lake Highlands), a nonprofit that empowers women and children to break the cycle of poverty. Caren used all of her experiences to design the Bright Futures curriculum and implemented it at her nonprofit. Through her methodical pedagogy, she has been able to lead an organization that serves hundreds of families with a mostly part-time team. The success of her Bright Futures curriculum at the nonprofit led Caren to create additional versions of the curriculum, each tailored to its target audience. Her series of curricula and programs help individuals, teens, companies, and organizations to reach higher levels of success in life, business, and relationships.
