Established custom cabinet manufacturer located near Redding, CA, has multiple full-time positions available for experienced Cabinet Installers and Entry-Level Shop Workers. We supply premium casework, cabinetry and counter tops for commercial projects like schools, medical facilities, and retail establishments, as well as for custom homes. We are a family owned and operated company established in 1986. Pay TBD by work experience and history. Core hours are from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Benefits include 401K with company match, some paid holidays and medical, and performance-based bonuses. ▪ As a Cabinet Installer you will be doing the field installation on projects in Northern California areas. You will be responsible for the overall quality of the cabinet installations that you and your team perform. The ideal candidate can look forward to prevailing wage projects when available and will be open to learning how we operate our shop. Relocation expenses may be discussed and taken into account upon hire. --The Installer Job Requirements: • 1 - 5 years of cabinet installation experience preferred • Must be able to read plans and shop drawings (elevations and layouts) • Be hard working, motivated and be a team player • Work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality workmanship • Have ability to maintain communication with field supervisor via email or phone • Occasional travel is required and expenses are covered • Need a valid Driver's License or reliable transportation • Be punctual and maintain assigned work schedules • Must be in good physical condition and able to lift/move 50+ lbs. • Having all tools necessary to complete all facets of installation is a big plus • Reliability, honesty and integrity are a must ▪ The General Laborer/Shop Workers will benefit from having cabinet building experience but it is not required. Any wood working ability in related fields is a plus. If you can follow directions, read a tape measure, are willing to learn how we operate in our shop, and have a can-do attitude, we may be willing to train you. You will be cutting, assembling, sanding, and moving cabinets, drawers, doors and other casework. Those that excel in their positions may be awarded or promoted accordingly. --General Laborer/Shop Worker Job Requirements: • Must be teachable and have good communication skills • Ability to read a tape measure • Basic hand tool knowledge needed (all tools provided) • Work in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality workmanship • Need a valid Driver's License or reliable transportation • Be punctual and maintain assigned work schedules • Must be in good physical condition and able to lift/move 50 lbs. • Keep work areas organized and clean • Reliability, honesty and integrity are a must • Be hard working, motivated and be a team player Please reply via Craig’s List email.
