Family Friend Community Event hosted by your local Frist Responders at MARTA Police. Free King of Pops ice cream will be served.!!! The MARTA Police Department would like to formally invite you to participate in our upcoming Community Outreach Safety Event “Pops with a Cop”! As we look forward to this event, we hope that you can join us in this effort to continue building positive community/police relationships. During this event, members of the community will have the opportunity to meet and speak with local first responders, as well as being provided a view of police vehicles, static display of police equipment, a tour of our mobile command vehicle, interact with Police K-9 dogs and much more. Community members will also have an opportunity to receive safety literature and helpful information about the MARTA transit system while enjoying free popsicles from the “King of Pops” ice cream vendor. Representatives from MARTA Police department will be conducting patrol vehicle presentations, distribute gift bags and safety literature, teaching CPR/First Aid and much more.
