June Kid's Class with SPROUT- Kids learn to cover crops and make soil! Join SPROUT this summer with an evening kid's class. Kids will learn to make compost and build soil by spreading cover crop seed, harvesting, and pulling plants. This class is perfect for kids who like to get their hands dirty in the garden, are interested in decomposer bugs and the environment! Families will leave with fresh garden produce from SPROUT and local farmers. *suitable for kids 6-12* Join us on the corner of Conti and Dorgneois (Behind the ReFresh Building) -Parents can stay and join or relax in the garden, but must stay on-site at ReFresh. -Masks are strongly suggested - If having trouble finding us please call (504)535-5064 -RSVP required for social distancing
