WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington won nearly $4 million in grants in Fiscal Year 2021, which ends June 30.
The Board of Selectmen accepted 19 grants at their most recent meeting, totalling $3.955 million. The grants exclude certain multi-year grants and millions in state and federal coronavirus-related funds.
The grants accepted ranged from a $2,587.13 grant to the Board of Health for coronavirus expenses to $2.891 million from MassWorks for the Jefferson Road and Middlesex Avenue sewer line and culvert work.
The grants also included $777,851 in Chapter 90 transportation funding and $50,000 for equipment upgrades at the Fire Department.
