SOMERVILLE, MA — Somerville police officers, animal control and the fire department were busy helping the youngest of our furry friends last week. On Wednesday, first responders pulled a duckling from a storm drain next to the courthouse and brought it to the water to be reunited with its mom. The same day, a baby hawk was freed from a flower pot and brought to its mother near Myrtle Street.
