Eleganza! and the Toxenes with DJ MeganO 21+ Eleganza! and the Toxenes with DJ MeganO 21+ Eleganza! and the Toxenes return to Mortimers with DJ MeganO spinning between sets! Eleganza!, led by frontman, Brian Vanderwerf---you may know him from the Estrus Records' band, The Midnight Evils, and the horn driven Chooglin' (Fat Possum/Big Legal Mess Records). The band features MN music luminaries; bassist Tony Zaccardi, drummer Tim Baumgart, guitarists Jeff Johnson and Greg McAloon, plus keyboardist Charlie Smith. This 3-guitar attack put out their first record, simply titled Full Length, in 2019. Toxenes have released several records and toured the USA and Europe.
