Essential teachers attend this conference to hone their skills, collaborate, and reenergize preparing to teach reading and writing on Day 1! Come get a head start on combating literacy learning loss resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. K-5 teachers will engage in reading and writing strategies meant to accelerate independence. Teachers will experience approaches to filling learning gaps through examples of culturally responsive teaching and executive functioning skills. Emphasis is placed on reading, writing, speaking, listening, and discovering.
