MEDFORD, MA — Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn will hold monthly "mobile office hours" starting Thursday, June 24. Lungo-Koehn hopes to meet with residents and business owners/employees throughout the community to discuss items of concern or answer questions as Medford continues to recover from the pandemic. Lungo-Koehn invites residents to join her for a cup of coffee between 9 and 10 a.m. at the Danish Pastry House, 330 Boston Avenue. "For me, involving the community in all that we do within city government is important and something I care deeply about. Over the last year and a half we have not had many opportunities to work together, face-to-face, and I want to create as many opportunities as possible to do just that," Mayor Lungo-Koehn said in a statement. "I want to meet residents and business owners and employees where you are – out at a local business, at a playground with your family, or wherever you happen to be. I am really looking forward to meeting with our community members and hearing directly from you about issues that you care most about." Mobile office hours will be held in parks and open spaces, local businesses and municipal buildings in the coming months. No prior appointments are needed; however, depending on the number of constituents in attendance, time limits may be placed on each one-on-one meeting.
