Temple Isaiah is looking for a regular, full-time custodian to provide cleaning and facility use support on our 3 building campus. Varied schedule including nights and weekends. Positive work environment. Must be able to commute to Lafayette. This position will report directly to the Facility and Building Manager.
The Custodian duties are as follows:
Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms, clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; replace light bulbs; refill restroom dispensers. Clean floors, windows, walls, use power and hand tools, ladders.
Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc. Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
Attend to emergencies when necessary.
Be an ambassador for Temple Isaiah – greeting members, guests, vendors, and renters with a friendly and helpful manner.
Perform related duties as required.
Must be able to pass a LiveScan background check.
