DANVERS, MA — The North Shore Chamber of Commerce is looking to celebrate 20 area businesswomen as part of its inaugural Diamond Awards program.
The program is designed to recognize women of leadership and influence in the region who "demonstrate a commitment and passion for serving others while leading with purpose, excelling in their career and making an impact."
A panel of judges will select 20 women who will be spotlighted in the September issue of the Chamber's new Impact Magazine. They will also be recognized at a Power of Women breakfast on Sept. 21 at Kernwood Country Club in Salem.
The Chamber is looking for Diamond Awards nominations. Those wishing to nominate a North Shore businesswoman can do so here.
Those nominating are asked to highlight the nominee's achievements in the workplace and in the community, along with what makes her stand out as one of the North Shore's shining leaders.
The deadline for submissions is July 9. Nominations can be submitted by anyone familiar with the nominee. Self-nominations will also be accepted.
