DANVERS, MA — Danvers resident Matthew P. Cocciardi will become the Associated Court Administrator for the Massachusetts Trial Court starting next month. Trial Court Administrator John A. Bello on Tuesday appointed Cocciardi, a former Danvers town meeting member and St. John's Prep of Danvers graduate, to the position effective July 12. Cocciardi most recently worked at the Commonwealth's Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance for six years as its Chief of Staff where he coordinated the DCAMM's day-to-day operations and managed a $2 billion, five-year capital budget. He also coordinated the planning and ongoing construction for DCAMM projects, real estate and leasing transactions, all agency internal and external communications, the human resources department, the legislative portfolio and various strategic initiatives. He has also served as the deputy legislative director and policy analyst in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In 2019, Gov. Charlie Baker appointed Cocciardi to the Council on the Underground Economy, which serves businesses and taxpayers by coordinating enforcement actions and investigations between state and federal agencies. Cocciardi is a graduate of Bates College in Maine. Did you find this article useful? Invite a friend to subscribe to Patch.
